There are several schemes are started by the Central Government and Haryana State Government for organized and unorganized sector workers in the country. There is a lack of awareness about this. In this scheme of the Labor Welfare Department of Haryana Government, you get 19 facilities on the contribution of only 10 rupees a month. - If the children of a laborer study from the 1st to the 12th standard, then for this, they get Rs 3,000 to Rs 4,000 per annum for buying school dress, book-copies, etc.
- Scholarship scheme for children of laborers: 5000 for boys of 9th-10th, Rs. 7000 for girls annually and Rs 5500 for boys of 11th-12th, Rs. 7750 rupees for girls is provided.

1st Scheme for Children of Laborers Scholarship Haryana
Financial Assistance for the Purchase of School Uniform, Books, and Copies, etc. for the Boys and Girls of the Contributory Workers, If they Continue from Class 1st to Class 10th -: Under this scheme, 02 boys and 03 girls of laborers working in industrial and commercial units of Haryana state-provided lump-sum financial assistance at the time of admission for school uniform, textbooks, and copies, etc. on continuation of education from 1st class to 10th class.

Conditions Set for Eligibility
- The benefit of this scheme will be made available to the girls as well as boys of the workers.
- The girls continuing education certificate will have to be made and uploaded by the Principal / Headmaster of the school on the letter pad of the school.
- Photocopy of the ration card / ESI card will have to be uploaded by the laborer mentioning the girl’s name.
- The service period of the laborer is fixed under this scheme for 2 years.
- The monthly salary of the worker should not exceed Rs. 25,000 (Twenty Five Thousand Rupees Per Month).
Deadline or Last Date To Apply
The last date for submission of application in the relevant session has been fixed as 31st December. Cases/applications submitted after 31 December will not be considered.
2nd Scheme for Children of Laborers Scholarship Haryana
Scholarship Scheme for Children of Contributory Workers -: The purpose of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to the children of self-employed workers and laborers in the industrial and commercial institutions of Haryana State to continue their studies. On passing the examination and on continuing the studies in the next examination, up to 3 girls and 2 boys of laborers and laborers are given the following scholarship amount in the following classes.

Conditions Set for Eligibility
- If the child of the laborer is also getting a scholarship from some other institution, then he/she can also take advantage of the scheme.
- If a student receives a scholarship by giving a false certificate, he will never be given a scholarship in the future and the amount of scholarship given will be taken back.
- Students who are on self-employment or job are not covered under this scheme.
- Those children of laborers, who for some reason leave their studies and continue to study again, will also get the benefit of this scheme. The children of laborers who are continuing education outside the state of Haryana will also be given the benefit of this scheme.
- Students will not be eligible for the scheme on arrival of re-appointment / compensation.
- The service period of the laborer is fixed under this scheme for 1 year.
- The monthly salary of the worker should not exceed Rs. 25,000 (Twenty Five Thousand Rupees Per Month).
Deadline or Last Date To Apply
The last date for the submission of applications for the benefit of this scheme has been set to 31 December (each year). Cases/application forms presented after 31 December will not be considered.
3rd Scheme for Children of Laborers Scholarship Haryana
Financial Assistance To The Child Of The Contributing Workers To Develop Talent Towards Sports -: Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided by the Haryana Labor Welfare Board as per the following table for the children of laborers working in industrial and commercial institutions of the state of Haryana, so that children of laborers also become good players.

- The worker will upload such proof that the participating player is dependent on him.
- A certified copy of the ration card will have to be uploaded.
- The service period of the laborers is not fixed under this scheme.

Financial Assistance for the Development of Talent Towards the Cultural Sector of the Children of the Contributing Workers -: Under this scheme, the financial assistance is provided by the Haryana Labor Welfare Board as per the following table for the children of the laborers working in the industrial and commercial institutions of the state of Haryana to participate in cultural competitions so that the children of the laborers also become good performers.

- The school principal provides the application form and after filling & attaching all the documents you will have to submit it before the last date in the same office (principal).
- After the verification and approval, you will receive the funds for purchasing the books, uniforms or copies in your (or guardians/parents) bank account.

Scholarship Scheme for Children of Contributory Workers:
- To apply for the Scholarship under Scheme for Children of Contributory Workers the students will have to contact the institution head. The application form will be available through the Labour Welfare Department Haryana official website https://hrylabour.gov.in/ also.
- For the scholarships of class 1st to 10th, the students will have to meet the school head-master/teacher or principal. The school head-teacher will provide the application form and the students will have to submit it with all documents.
- The school principal will send your request to the concerned department and after the verification & approval, you will receive the scholarship amount in your bank account. Make sure that your bank account is linked with the Aadhaar card.
- After getting the application form and attaching all the documents the students will have to submit it in the concerned department before the last date (for the above class 12th).
- The officials will verify and check your application and other documents. After the approval, the students will receive the scholarship award amount in their bank account linked with the Aadhaar card.
