[RIMC Entrance Examination]Rashtriya Indian Military College Dehradun  Admission Test 2023 :- For the Admission of January 2023-24 session in Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun, the applications are invited from the eligible candidates. Rashtriya Indian Military College Dehradun (RIMC) Entrance Examination 2023 has been announced and written test will be held on the prescribed date conducted at the examination centres which re generally located in the state capitals or in cities as advertised. Candidate’s date of birth must be between 2nd January 2008 and 1st July 2009. The result of RIMC Entrance exam  will be based on combining the both written test and interview.Candidates should be Class 7th passed from any accredited school. The selected candidate get admission in the 8th class in RIMC Dehradun. The selected candidates will get offer of Scholarships from their respective State Govt. on the basis of their performance in the RIMC Admission Test.

Eligibility Criteria for RIMC Entrance Examination 2023

• Only male candidates are eligible for the admission to the Rashtriya Indian Military College Dehradun
• Candidates appearing for the above test should not be less than 11 years in age but should not have attained the age of 13 years as on 1st January 2023-24.
• Candidates should either be studying in Class 7 or passed Class 7 from any recognized school at the time of admission to the RIMC, i.e. on 1st January 2023-24.

RIMC Entrance Examination 2023 Awards

• Those students will be awarded with the scholarship who perform extremely well in RIMC exam. the scholarship may be between Rs. 10,000 to 40,000 per annum.
• The number of scholarships are different from state to state and the continuation of the scholarship are based on the performance and merit of the candidate.
• Selected candidates will get admission to the Rashtriya Indian Military college, Dehradun, Uttarakhand for January 2023-24 session.
• During the admission, the selected candidates will have to pay Rs. 42,400 per annum and security deposit of Rs. 20,000 which will be refunded to the candidates, when he passes out.

RIMC Entrance Examination 2023 Application Process

• The applicant can obtain the application form by post along with the prospectus with set of old question papers for the above examination from the Commandant, Rashtriya Indian Military College, Garhi Cantt, Dehradun, Uttrakhand – 248003 through two methods:

1. Online Payment => Applicant can obtain the prospectus-cum-application form and booklet of old question papers by making online payment of Rs. 600 (for General) and Rs. 555/- (for SC/ST) Candidates on RIMC website www.rimc.gov.in. On receipt of pyment, cndidte will receive all by Speed post.
2. By sending Demand Draft => The prospectus-cum-application form and booklet of old question papers can be obtained by sending written request with demand draft of Rs. 600/- (for General Candidates) and Rs.555/- for SC/ST candidates along with caste certificate in favour of
   “THE COMMANDANT RIMC DEHRADUN”, DRAWEE BRANCH, STATE BANK OF INDIA, TEL BHAVAN, DEHRADUN, (BANK CODE-01576), UTTARAKHAND.
   The address must be typed or written in capital letter with pin code and contact number.

• The candidate will have to submit the applications in duplicate on the prescribed format.
• With the written request, the candidates will have to send a Demand Draft (amount mentioned above) in favour of The commandant, RIMC Dehradun – 248003.
• The applying candidates have to submit two copies of application form on the prescribed format with the required documents furnished below.
• The filled in application form should be required to reach on or before 30 June, 2023 t the respective State Governments of which their parents/guardians are domicile.

Required Documents for Rashtriya Indian Military College Dehradun  Admission Test:

1. Two passport size photographs duly signed by the candidate
2. Date of Birth Certificate issued by (Municipal Corporation/Health Department),
3. SC/ST Certificate
4. Certificate from Principal of School in original with the applicants attested photograph stating date of birth and class.

Rashtriya Indian Military College(RIMC) Entrance Examination 2023 Selection Criteria:

There are three steps will be followed for the selection of students for Admission in RIMC Dehradun.

• Step 1 : Written Exam => The written part of the examination will consist of three papers, namely, English, Mathematics and General Knowledge.
• Step 2 : Viva Voce => The intelligence and personality of the candidates will be tested in an interview, who qualify the written exam. This will be held on 06th October 2023. The intimation regarding date and venue of interview will be forwarded by the state govt. by early Sep., 2023. Minimum passing marks in each paper including interview will be 50%
• Stage 3 : Medical Examination => The selection candidates in Viva Voce, will go through the Medical exam at the selected Military Hospitals. The candidates found medically fit would be finally selected for the admission to RIMC, Dehradun.
