Charpak Students Exchange Program 2023 -: French Embassy in India is offering Charpak Exchange Program 2023 to the Indian students at the bachelor’s or master’s degree level to study in France. The eligible students can apply for application on or before the due date, ie. 15th May 2023. The program is designed for Indian students from all fields and streams of study, enrolled in an Indian institution at the Bachelors’s or Master’s degree level, who wish to undertake an exchange semester programme (for a period of one to four months)
Charpak Students Exchange Program Important Dates
- Start Date of call for applications: 13 March 2023
- Last Date of Submission of applications: 28 May 2023
- Publication of results: IInd week of July 2023
Eligibility-
- The applying candidate should be a resident of India.
- The candidate’s age must not be more than 30 years at the time of application.
- The candidate must have got the e-mail correspondence towards selection/invitation/ acceptance letter from the institute in France.
- The final semester project and laboratory research in a partner institute in France is not applicable to apply for Charpak Exchange Program.
Charpak Student Exchange Program Benefits Award
The selected candidates will be provided with the following benefits.
- Monthly stipend of 700 Euros for up to 4 months is also provided
- The candidates will also get help in finding affordable accommodation.
Charpak Exchange Program Application process
- The student should require to apply Online for Charpak Exchange Program Application form.

ifindia.in/ - Fill all the details of the word format document by using Arial, font size 10.
- After filling all details in the application submit it online along with the scanned copies of documents which are mentioned below.
Required Documents :
- The applicant must submit the scanned copies of all the mentioned documents along with the online application form.
- The first page of the passport (with photography and expire date)
- Applicants must provide a full CV of a maximum of two pages.
- Admission/invitation/
acceptance letter from the French higher education institution is also required. - No Objection Certificate from the institution of origin if he/she is going for the internship or the exchange program.
- Document of Internship or employment record, if any.
- Recommendation letter from the university (not mandatory)
- Statement of Purpose.
Charpak Student Exchange Program Selection Process
- The selection of candidates will be based on the candidate’s academic excellence, as well as the consistency and quality of your statement of purpose.
- There is an advantage to those who have knowledge of French, as it is not necessary.
- There is no requirement of the CGPA / percentage cut-off for the scholarship.
- The statement of purpose must be original of the candidate.
- The selected candidates will be intimated through email or phone calls.
