TBSP Vivekananda Overseas Study Scholarship Scheme 2023 for Telangana Brahmin community for Post Graduate and Ph.D. Courses

Vivekananda Overseas Study Scholarship Scheme has been launched by Telangana Brahmin Samkshema Parishad (TBSP), for the students belonging to the Telangana Brahmin community. The application for Vivekananda Overseas Study Scholarship Scheme 2023 can be filled out online through the Meeseva web portal and the same has been linked from the TBSP website. There are a large number of Brahmin community students who complete professional and other Graduate courses every year but are unable to pursue education abroad because of high tuition and other fees. To overcome these financial crises TBSP has launched this Vivekananda Overseas Study Scheme.

Eligibility for TBSP Vivekananda Overseas Study Scholarship 2023

• Vivekananda Overseas Study Scholarship benefits will be given to the Brahmin community graduates belonging to any of the 31 districts in Telangana.
• The Brahmin students’ family income should not exceed Rs. 6 Lacs (6,00,000/-) per annum from all sources. In the case of employees, Salary Certificate from the employer is needed to be submitted.
• To be eligible, the Income Certificate must be obtained through MeeSeva. The student should also attach a copy of the latest Monthly Salary Slip from the employer.
• The students’ age should not be more than 30 years as on the date of application.

Educational Qualification Required

For Post Graduate Course: The students must have obtained 65% marks or equivalent grade in foundation Degree in Engineering/ Management/ Pure Sciences/ Agriculture Sciences/ Medicine and Nursing/ Social Sciences/ Humanities.

For Ph.D. Courses: The candidates should have scored 65% marks or equivalent grade in the P.G. course in Engineering/ Management/ Pure Sciences/ Agriculture Sciences/ Medicine/ Social Sciences/ Humanities.

One Child in A Family One-time Award

This is a One time and one child in a family award, which means Only one child of the same parents is eligible for Vivekananda Overseas Education Scheme and the awardee cannot be considered for the second or subsequent times as the individual can be awarded only once in a lifetime. For the same, the candidate must submit a Self-certification.

TBSP Vivekananda Overseas Study Scholarship Scheme Amount

The selected Brahmin community Graduates of Vivekananda Overseas Study Scholarship will be provided with financial assistance to pursue Post Graduation or Doctoral studies abroad.

The rate of scholarship is as follows:

• Up to 11 months: Rs.10.00 Lacs
• Up to 23 months: Rs. 15.00 Lacs
• Two years and above: Rs. 20.00 Lacs

Requirements for TBSP Vivekananda Overseas Study Scholarship 2023

1. The candidate must have a valid TOEFL/ IELTS & GRE/ GMAT or any other equivalent entrance exam
2. The candidate must have obtained admission in an accredited Foreign University;
3. The student must hold a valid Passport
4. The applying candidates are required to make their efforts in seeking admission to accredited University / Institution abroad
5. This is also necessary for the selected candidate to join the concerned university within one year of communication of selection. On the expiry of this specified period, the award will be automatically canceled.
6. The students are not allowed to change the course of study or research for which the scholarship has been sanctioned.
7. To make yourself to be a part of this financial assistance, the student must complete the application in all respects and should be accompanied by all relevant documents as the incomplete applications shall not be accepted.

• The candidates who are eligible and keen to apply can fill their application online through the MEE SEVA website at eseva.telangana.gov.in/tbsp in the prescribed format.
• The same has been linked from TBSP website at brahminparishad.telangana.gov.in
• To complete the application process, the applicants are required to submit the following documents:

Documents for TBSP Vivekananda Overseas Study Scholarship 2023

1. The student should submit the Residential/ Nativity Certificate
2. Caste Certificate from Mee Seva is also necessary to submit by the applicant
3. Income Certificate from Mee Seva is also an important document required with the application form
4. For proof of the applicant’s age, the Date of Birth Certificate is also needed
5. Aadhaar Card should also be submitted
6. The student should also have a valid Passport
7. The candidate should also submit the Mark sheet from SSC/Inter/Graduate/PG Level
8. He/she should also submit the GRE / GMAT or equivalent qualifying exam/test scorecard
9. TOFEL/IELTS scorecard is also needed with application.
10. Admission offer letter from Foreign University (I-20, letter of Admission or equivalent)
11. Copy of Bank Pass Book of Nationalised Bank is also needed which proves the student’s bank account.
12. The student should upload the scanned copy of his/her photograph.
