Punjab Post Matric Scholarship 2023 for Minority Students

The Govt of Punjab has announced the grant of Post-matric Scholarship 2023. This scholarship scheme is for SC/ST/OBC/Minority students. Punjab Govt has asked for online applications from all students. All students can apply for the scholarship from Punjab Govt’s official website punjabscholarships.gov.in.

Punjab Scheduled Caste and Backward Classes Welfare Minister, Sadhu Singh Dharamot instructed the Welfare Department to get the Punjab Post-Matric Scholarship 2023 online application form in the Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship Portal. The Government will provide financial assistance for matriculation or post-secondary level under Punjab Post Matric Scholarship 2023 for SC/ST/OBC/Minority students.  All eligible students can make their registration 25 September and Post Matric Scholarship 2023 for SC / BC last date 24 October 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for Punjab Post Matric Scholarship 2023-

1. The scholarship is available for SC/ST/OBC and Minority students.
2. These students must be permanent residents of Punjab.
3. The annual income of the family of the SC/ST applicant should not exceed Rs 2,50.000 per year.
4. Family income in the case of OBC/Minority students should not exceed Rs 1,00,000 per year.
5. The student’s Aadhaar card should be linked to the savings bank of the applicant.

Note – The applying candidates should have obtained 60% marks in the qualifying examination (post matriculation level, ie. Class 11 to postdoctoral level) on the basis of which the student is seeking admission in the University.

To fill the online application for Punjab Post-matric Scholarship Scheme 2023, candidates have to visit the official website of Dr. Amedkar Scholarship Portal at https://punjabscholarships.gov.in

• On the web home page, go to the student’s corner on the left side of the homepage.
• If you are already registered, click on Registered Student’s Login.
• If you are new then click on Student Registration.
• Fill in the registration form with the correct details and I agree and click on proceed.
• You will then be redirected to the new page where you can fill the application form.
• Read the instructions carefully and then fill the prescribed application form.

Value of Punjab Post-Matric Scholarship 2023-

The value of scholarship includes the following for the complete duration of the course:

1. Maintenance allowance
2. Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees
3. Study tour charges
4. Book allowance for students pursuing correspondence courses
5. Book bank facility for specified courses
6. Additional allowance for students with disabilities, for the complete duration of the
   course. (For SC/ST students)
7. Reader Charges for blind students (For OBC & Minority students)
