The Chief Minister of West Bengal has launched the Nabanna scholarship program aimed at helping needy students access the quality education that they need to advance themselves and their society. However, like every other scholarship, the requirements are set, which we will tell you in this article. WB Chief Minister Relief Fund Nabanna Scholarship is available only for the students who are the domicile of West Bengal. The application process of the same shall be done offline. The selected students will be awarded an amount of Rs. Ten Thousand per annum for their current course and the amount depends on various courses.
Eligibility Criteria for WB Nabanna Scholarship 2023
To be eligible for the Nabna Scholarship, you need to fulfill certain requirements. You must do-
- He/she must be a permanent resident of West Bengal
- After successfully passing the State Board / Council of Secondary Education, the student should be studying in any institution of the state or aided university
- The student must have scored a minimum of 65% marks in aggregate in the 10h class exam for the 12th level.
- Candidate must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in 12th class for UG level.
- The student must have scored at least 55% marks in their graduation result.
- The student may not be studying outside West Bengal
- Students’ family income should not be more than Rs. 60,000/- per annum.
- The student may not be able to get any kind of state or center scholarship/stipend for the same course or at the same stage of study during the last year at the time of application.

- A copy of the tuition/admission fee book.
- A copy of the reference from MP / MLA to the Hon’ble Chief Minister which includes the declaration of monthly family income.
- Photocopy of the marked sheet of all previous examinations.
- A copy of the family income certificate that carries monthly income from people within the rank – DM / SDO / BDO / Group-A government or any officer not below the rank of Joint BDO or Deputy Commissioner of Corporation.
- A self-declaration of the student about their current education course along with details of per year and semester and details of scholarship/aid/assistance which has been formulated by the institute.
- Personal bank account details including account number, account name, bank and branch code along with a copy of Bank Pass Book.

WB Chief Minister Relief Fund Scholarship Amount
The WB Chief Minister Relief Fund / WB Nabanna Scholarship 2023 has been started to help the people of the state. The WB CM Relief Fund will provide financial assistance to the poor people and students of the state who wish to study in higher classes but their financial condition is weak.
