Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship 2023

In the Sitaram Jindal Foundation Scholarship Scheme 2023, the students who are studying in Class 11 to post-graduation are invited to apply for an aforesaid scholarship. It aims to provide financial support to underprivileged meritorious students. The scholarship is being provided by Sitaram Jindal Foundation which also covers Polytechnic and Diploma courses in technical education. Under the scholarship, the selected candidates will get an amount of Rs. 2500 per month.

 

Eligibility Criteria

An applicant needs –

  • Applicants must be studying in 11, 12, ITI, Diploma, Graduation and Postgraduate.

Category ‘A’ :- Courses : 11th & 12th Classes :Eligibility

  • Boys must obtain 65% marks and Girls should obtain 60% marks
  • Boys should obtain 75% and Girls should obtain 70% marks for Karnataka
  • Boys should obtain 70% and Girls should obtain 65% marks for West Bengal

Category ‘B’:- ITI Students: Eligibility

  • Govt. ITIs: Passing Marks
  • Private ITIs: Boys must score 50% and Girls must score 40% marks

Category ‘C’:- i) Graduate Courses Like:

  1. B.A., B.Com, B.Sc., BFA, BCA, BBA, BBM, Bachelor of Business Economics/Finance, B.Sc. (Ag.), BVSC Integrated course of 5 years (first 3 years will be treated as graduation course)
  2. In the field of Environment like Environment Scientist, Environment Engineer, and Environment Journalist.
  3. In the field of Hospitality, Micro Biology, Forensic Sciences, and Social Work.

Other Requirements

  • Boys must obtain 60% marks and Girls should obtain 55% marks
  • Boys should obtain 70% and Girls should obtain 65% marks for Karnataka
  • Boys should obtain 65% and Girls should obtain 60% marks for West Bengal

ii) Post Graduation Courses like:

  • M.A., M.Phil, M.Com, M.Lib (Science), MBA, Master of Business Economics/Finance/ Human Resources Management/ International Business/ M.Sc. / MVSc, M.Sc. (Agriculture), MCA, Organic Agriculture, Solar Energy, Rural/Urban Management, Integrated course for 5 years (remaining 2 years amount for post-graduation basis).
  • In the field of Environment like Environment Scientist, Environment Engineer and Environment Journalist.
  • In the field of Hospitality, Micro Biology, Forensic Sciences, and Social Work

For Category D

  • Boys must obtain 65% marks and Girls should obtain 60% marks
  • Boys should obtain 70% and Girls should obtain 65% marks for Karnataka

Category ‘D’ Diploma courses

  • Diploma Courses – (all streams)
  • Diploma in the field of Environment like Environment Scientist, Environment Engineer, and Environment Journalist.
  • Diploma in Nursing, Pharmacy & Physiotherapy

For Category E

  • Boys must obtain 60% marks and Girls should obtained 55% marks

Category ‘E’ Engineering & Medicine Courses

  • Graduate Engineering Courses (all streams) including Architecture
  • Graduate Medicine Courses including Naturopathy, M.B.B.S, Dental, B.Pharma, Homeopathy, and Ayurveda
  • PG Courses Engineering & Medicine Courses including Homeopathy, Naturopathy, M.Pharma, Surgery (excluding MDS)

Eligibility: Boys must obtain 70% marks and Girls should obtain 65% marks

Scholarship Benefits

  1. Selected candidates of Classes 11 and 12 will receive INR 500 monthly.
  2. Scholars pursuing ITI diploma will receive INR 500 monthly (for authorization / authorized ITI) and INR 700 monthly (for individual ITI).
  3. Scholars pursuing the degree leading to the beginning of the programs will receive a scholarship as INR 1000 monthly.
  4. Scholars pursuing the degree leading to the beginning of the programs will receive a scholarship as INR 1200 monthly.
  5. Scholars pursuing diploma programs will receive INR 1000 monthly (for women) and INR 800 monthly (for boys).
  6. Scholars pursuing medical / engineering programs will get a scholarship of INR 2,000 monthly.
