Sanskriti Geddes Scholarship 2023-24:- Sanskriti Foundation presenting Geddes Scholarship for the study of the methodology and principles of Geddes town planning. So the students of Planning and architecture/young professionals can submit the applications for the said scholarship. The scholarship will be given for 6 months duration. Through this scholarship an opportunity to develop awareness among young planners and architects of Geddes’ principle of ‘place, work, and folk’.
After completion of the study, the scholars will be invited to display the discoveries in a seminar in Delhi. To be a part of this scholarship, the candidate should fulfill all the eligibility conditions and will have to sign an agreement with Sanskriti Pratishthan pertaining to a regular flow of work during the scholarship period.

Eligibility Criteria for Sanskriti Geddes Scholarship :
- Indian Nationalities candidates are eligible to participate
- The candidate’s age should between 20 to 30 years
- The candidate should be registered at a graduate/postgraduate/research level from a recognized university or institution and /or young practicing professionals in the field of architecture and planning
- The candidate may not be availing any other scholarship/fellowship or working on any other project at the same time.
Sanskriti Geddes Scholarship Benefits Provided :
The selected candidates of the Geddes Scholarship will be provided with a scholarship amount of Rs. 45,000 which will be given in two phases
- Ist Instalment: The first installment will be paid at the start of the scholarship
- IInd Instalment: The second installment will be given after the submission of the complete project report.
Things to do after the stage:
- This is a must submit an Interim Report after 3 months of the start of work to the coordinator.
- The report will be circulated to the Committee who may offer comments to the researcher to consider.
- The final report when submitted will also be reviewed by the committee and any changes required can be integrated.
- After the successful completion of the study, the scholars will have to present the findings in a seminar in Delhi.
Sanskriti Geddes Scholarship Application Process :
- The applying candidates can be an individual or can be a collaborative work of a group of individuals.
- The willing candidates should require to send a Curriculum Vitae of 2 pages.
- The candidates should also send the names and contact addresses/ telephones of two referees.
- The project proposal should be written in 1500 words with reference to the specific city or section or mohalla.
