Pratibha Kiran Scholarship
The main objective of the “Pratibha Kiran Yojana” is to provide scholarships to promising female students of class 12. This scholarship will be given to the girl students of families living Below the Poverty Line (BPL). The Madhya Pradesh government believes that due to poverty, many poor girls are unable to pursue further studies and these hardworking girls break their dream of studying further. Keeping this in mind, the government has decided to give scholarships to these girls.
“Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Scheme 2023” (Pratibha Kiran Yojana) will provide financial assistance to these girls so that the standard of living of these girls can rise. The benefit of the scheme will be available only to those students who have passed class 12 in first-class/division. They will get Rs 500 per month (five hundred rupees monthly) for traditional courses and Rs 750 per month (seven hundred fifty rupees) for technical and medical education.

Eligibility Criteria
The government of Madhya Pradesh has set certain criteria for the beneficiaries of the “Pratibha Kiran Scholarship” which are given below:
- To take advantage of the “Pratibha Kiran Scholarship“, the applicant girl student must be a permanent resident of the state of Madhya Pradesh (MP).
- Under this scheme, financial assistance will be provided to poor girls living below the poverty line (BPL Only).
- The applicant must pass the first class (1st division) in the 12th standard.
- Financial aid will be provided every month upon admission to the college.
- Applicant girl must have a Residence Certificate of Madhya Pradesh.
Benefits of Scheme
Students of the MP state will get the following benefits from this scheme:
- The stipend will be provided by the government to the girl students selected under the “Pratibha Kiran Scholarship Scheme” .
- Only the girl students living below the poverty line (BPL) have been made eligible under the scheme.
- The promising girls of the state will be able to complete further studies by obtaining scholarships and can study and stand on their feet.
- With the benefit of the Pratibha Scholarship, the poverty of these girls will come forward for making their careers.
- Those students will get the benefit of this scheme who have passed 12th class in first-class from recognized government schools.
- Under the scheme, girl students will be given Rs 500 per month for 10 months for courses and Rs 700 per month for technical and medical education courses for 10 months.
