NTR Videshi Vidyadharana Overseas Scholarship 2023-24 – Registration Open Now
The applications are invited by the Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh for NTR Videshi Vidyadharana Overseas Scholarship. It is a kind of Financial assistance given to the students of Backward Classes (BC) for practicing Higher Studies in Post Graduate courses in Foreign Universities for the year 2023-24.
One thousand (1000) BC students will be awarded NTR Videshi Vidyadharana Overseas Scholarship 2023. All the suitable BC students graduates are eligible to apply to pursue Post Graduates studies abroad.

Eligibility Criteria-
Income Limit for NTR Videshi Vidyadharana Overseas Scholarship:
- Backward Classes student’s family income should not be more than Rs. Six Lacs (6,00,000) per annum from all sources to Apply for NTR Videshi Vidyadharana Overseas Scholarship.
- The students must require to enclose the income certificate which should be obtained through MEE SEVA. A copy of the latest Tax assessment, as well as the latest salary slip from the employer, is also needed to be submitted with the application.
Videshi Vidyadharana Overseas Scholarship Age Requirement :
- To be eligible for this financial assistance, the BC candidates’ age should not more than 35 years as of 1 July 2019.
Qualification for Videshi Vidyadharana Overseas Scholarship:
- For Post Graduate Course: Degree in Engineering / Management / Pure Sciences /Agriculture Sciences / Medicine & Nursing /Social Sciences/Humanities.
- For PhD Course: P.G course in Engineering / Management / Pure Sciences / Agriculture Sciences / Medicine / Social Sciences/ Humanities.
- PG courses include PG Diploma courses of One year, and One and Half year duration.
The scheme includes the study of CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and CPM (Certified Portfolio Manger) courses in the US since they are equivalent to Chartered Accountancy (CA) / Cost Accounting (CA) courses in India.
One Child – One Time Award
The scheme is available for only one child of the same parents or guardian. A self-certification will be required from the candidate in this regard. The scholars are not eligible to get this award again as it will be awarded to one student only once in a lifetime.
Eligible Countries-
USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Germany, New Zealand, Sweden, Netherlands, France, Denmark, Russia, Philippines, Kazakhstan and China (Philippines, Kazakhstan, and China only for medicine).
Necessary Requirement:
- The candidate should have a valid TOEFL/IELTS & GRE/GMAT.
- Applicant must have obtained admission in an accredited Foreign University.
- The student must hold a valid Passport.
- The Candidates are required to make their own efforts in seeking admission in accredited University/Institution abroad.
- The selected candidate has to join the concerned university within one year of communication of selection. Once the specified period of time out, the award will be automatically canceled and come to an end.
Amount of Scholarship-
- The selected candidates of the NTR Videshi Vidyadharana Overseas Scholarship will be awarded Rs. Ten Lacs towards fees and living expenses by the way of grant.
- Fees shall be payable in Two installments as follows:
- Instalment-I: An amount of Rs.5.00 lakhs shall be payable to the students upon production of the landing permit /I- 94 card. (Immigration Card)
- Instalment-II: An amount of Rs.5.00 lakhs shall be payable to the students upon production of the 1st Semester results.
- Earnings from Research/Teaching Assistance-ship: The awardees are permitted to supplement their prescribed allowances by undertaking Research/Teaching Assistantship.
Application Process-
- All the candidates who are willing to apply for financial assistance for studies abroad shall apply Online from August 1 to September 30, 2016.
- The registration for scholarship shall be online at epasswebsite.cgg.gov.in
- The applications with all the required documents should be complete in all respect.
- From the total 33 per cents scholarships are reserved for the female candidates which is transferrable in case of non-availability of eligible women candidates.
Required Documents-
- Caste Certificate from Mee Seva.
- Income Certificate from Mee Seva.
- Date of Birth certificate.
- Aadhar card.
- E-pass ID Number.
- Residential/Nativity certificate.
- Passport copy.
- Mark sheet from SSC/Inter/Graduate/PG level.
- GRE /GMAT or equivalent qualifying exam/test scorecard.
- TOFEL / IELTS scorecard.
- Admission offer letter from Foreign University (I-20, letter of Admission or equivalent).
- Copy of the latest Tax assessment is to be enclosed.
- Copy of Bank Pass Book of Nationalized Bank.
- Photo to be scanned and uploaded.
Selection Criteria
The selection of candidates will be done by the State Level Screening Committee created by the government.
