Kalpana Chawla Scholarship Scheme 2023 HP for Girl Students -: Himachal Pradesh Government is going to give scholarships to meritorious girl students. The name of this scholarship is the ‘Kalpana Chawla Scholarship Scheme’.

Kalpana Chawla Scholarship Scheme is introduced by the Government of Himachal Pradesh for top meritorious girl students to encourage them for higher education. This scheme is applicable for only female students who have passed their Class 12th. The scheme is also known as Kalpana Chawla Chatravriti Yojna. Under this scheme, the scholarship will be given to 2000 most suitable girls students.

Students of 12th pass can avail of this scholarship. The application process of the HP Kalpana Chawla Scholarship Scheme 2020-21 Himachal Pradesh has started. The main objective of the Kalpana Chawla Scholarship of the Government of Himachal Pradesh is to encourage the meritorious students to study further. Under this scheme, two thousand students will get a scholarship every year. This scheme has been started especially for girls so that they can be encouraged for further education. Under this scheme, eligible students will be selected based on the merit list.

Benefits of Scholarship

• Under this scheme, a scholarship of Rs.15,000 / – per student will be provided to the students who pass class XII.
• Apart from this, students can avail of this scheme until the completion of the degree/diploma course.
• The benefit of this scheme will be given only to the girls who pass the class XII successfully.

Prizes for KCNS Winner Students 2023

Under the KCNS scheme, a total of 84 students will be awarded by various forms of prizes by the official authority. And there will be 21 winners under each prize category.

• 1st Prize: Top 21 students will get to go to NASA camp as a reward for first prize.
• 2nd prize: The second prize is 01 Lakh INR (Indian rupees) Cash Prize will be awarded to TOP 21 students.
• 3rd Prize: Rs.51000 INR Cash Prize will be awarded to 21 students.
• Consolation Prize (4th): 25000 Indian Rupees Cash Prize will be awarded to 21 students.

Prizes for KCNS Winner for Teachers

There will be a total of 22 winners under this Scholarship Examination across all the prize categories. In the 1st prize, there will be a total of 4 winners, and in the 2nd &3rd prize, there will be a total of 9 winners each.

• 1st Prize: For first prize winners, shortlisted candidates will get a chance to go to NASA Camp 01 Faculty Member from Top 04 Schools Each gets to go to NASA camp along with the Winner Students.
• 2nd Prize: Rs.21000 Indian Rupees Cash Prize will be awarded to Next Top 9 Best Schools / Teachers each.
• 3rd Prize: Rs.11000 thousand Indian Rupees will be awarded to Next Top 9 Best Schools / Teachers each.

Eligibility Criteria

1. The applicant must be from Himachal Pradesh.
2. The scholarship is available for only girl students.
3. Students must be from Class 12th in any stream (Science, Arts, Commerce) from Himachal Pradesh Board.
4. She must have taken admission in 10 + 2 courses (academic, professional, technical) in a government-aided or recognized private institution as a regular student.

Amount of Kalpana Chawla Chatravritti  

Every year Rs 15,000 will be given to the selected girl student of Himachal Pradesh.

How to Apply for Kalpana Chawla Chatravritti 2023

1. First of all, go to the homepage of the National Scholarship Portal and click on New Registration.
2. Read the directions carefully and click on Continue.
3. After this, submit the scholarship category, state, name, date of birth, mobile number, email, and bank details.
4. An OTP will come on mobile for number verification.
5. Enter OTP and submit again.
6. The candidate’s ID and password will be generated.
7. After successfully filling the online application form, the applicant will have to submit the printout of the application form with the necessary documents to her institute.

• Admission Certificate
• If any certificate after 12th is a Certificate of Diploma / Courses.

The Kalpana Chawla Scholarship Scheme will be selected based on the merit list of HP Board of School Education, Dharamshala.
