The Jharkhand National Means–Cum-Merit Scholarship Examination 2023 (Jharkhand NMMS) is conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC). This scholarship is started for the students of class 8 so that needy students do not have to face difficulties to study further. Scholarships are given to the selected students only through the examination. This examination is conducted for the economically weaker section (EWS) students. Under this scholarship program, selected students are awarded scholarships for studying from class 9th to 12th. After passing the Jharkhand NMMS examination, every student who will pass is given a scholarship of Rs 6000 (six thousand rupees) every year from class 9th to 12th. NMMS Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the Jharkhand NMMS exam, students have to meet the eligibility criteria set. The candidates who apply without fulfilling the eligibility criteria, their application will be rejected. Get information about eligibility criteria from here.
- Only students studying in class 8th can apply.
- It is mandatory for applying students to have at least 55% marks in 7th grade.
- A 5% discount is given for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and Disabled students.
- Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates are required to get a minimum of 50 percent marks in Class 7th.
- Students studying in a government school can apply for this exam.
- The income of the mother and father should not be more than 1.50 lakh.
- For regular scholarship, it is mandatory to get a minimum of 55% in class 9th and class 11th and a minimum of 60% in class 10th.

Jharkhand NMMS does not offer an opportunity to improve the application. Incomplete or incorrectly filled applications are not valid. To apply, first, you need to download the application. After downloading the application form, it has to be filled out properly and submitted to the school.
It is necessary to submit the application fee along with the application form. SC, ST and OBC candidates must submit caste certificates along with the application.

NMMS Exam Admit Card
Candidates applying for the Jharkhand NMMS exam are issued the admit card. On the day of the examination, students must take the admit card along. The students applying for NMMS Jharkhand are given the admit card by their school principal. You are not allowed to appear in the exam if you do not have the admit card. It is necessary to reach the examination center 1 hour before the commencement of the examination.
