• This scheme is for post matriculation students. This means that the same students will be able to apply for the scholarship who have passed the high school or summative examination. They will also have to provide a photocopy of the educational certificate along with the application form.
• Students should not benefit from any other scholarship scheme. They will have to give an affidavit that they are not availing any other scholarship scheme besides.
• Under this scheme, scholarships are not offered to students pursuing BA, BSc, BCom or other diploma courses from a university or college outside the state. Students have to get an education from the institutes of Jharkhand itself.
• Under this scheme, scholarships are available at different rates for different classes. Scholarships are awarded annually from 19500 to 90 thousand rupees to the students. This includes other expenses including hostel fees.
