Eligibility for Hindustan Time Scholarship

- The Mumbai Students of Class 5th to 10th and Pune/Chandigarh Students of Class 5th to 9th are eligible to apply for Hindustan Times Scholarship Scheme 2023.
- The student should be Enrolled in Class 5th to 10th in any government recognized school/college. He/she must be obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the last examination.
- The student must be having permanent residence in Chandigarh, Pune, or Mumbai. The applicants will have to show the residence proof also with the application form.
Who are Not Eligible
- The students who received the Hindustan Times Scholarship in previous/last year are not eligible to participate in this academic year for HT Scholarship 2023.
- The children of employees who are working in HT Media Group or its associated organizations are not able to get the benefits under this Hindustan Times Scholarship Programme.
Reward/Amount for HT Scholarship 2023
After submitting application form for the HT Scholarship and approval of the request the selected students will receive the reward amount in the following pattern:
- The HT Group will select around 60 candidates from the Mumbai city and they will receive Rs Rs 50000 under this scholarship.
- For the Chandigarh region, the HT Media Group will select 35 students and they will be provided around Rs 25000 under this scheme.
- From the Pune region, the Hindustan Times Group will select a total of 25 students and they will get the amount of Rs. 25000 under this scholarship.
The Hindustan Times Group will select a total of 120 students from these three regions under this HT Scholarship Programme. The media house will invite 50 students to receive the scholarship amount in an award function.
