CGI-AF Joint Postgraduate Scholarship Program 2023 in Science and Technology for ASEAN students
Applicants are invited to submit their entries for the CGI-AF Joint Postgraduate Scholarship Program in Science and Technology for ASEAN Citizens and the starting date of entries along with the last date will be intimated to you very soon. CGI currently offering programs to Master’s and Doctoral Degree in Applied Biological Sciences, Environmental Health, Environmental Toxicology, and Chemical Science. The scholarship will include tuition and other academic fees, round trip airfare, visa fee, housing allowance, monthly stipend, book allowance, health insurance, and others. The selection of candidates will be based on Merit. For the academic year 2023, a total of ten (10) scholarships are awarded to the ASEAN Nationals (except Thai citizens). The candidates who are interested to pursue a Master’s Degree at the CGI can submit their application for CGI-AF Joint Postgraduate Scholarship Program in Science and Technology 2023.
Value of CGI-AF Joint Postgraduate Scholarship
- The scholarship award will cover six (6) weeks refresher courses and follow by a period of two (2) years Master’s Degree study, subject to an annual review of the scholar’s satisfactory progress.
- The selected candidates of CGI-AF Joint Postgraduate Scholarship Program in Science and Technology will be awarded a scholarship which covers the following :
- Tuition and other academic fees (credit fee, laboratory expenses, refresher course, enrollment fee, thesis fee, production of thesis documents),
- Round trip airfare,
- Visa fee,
- First settlement allowance,
- Relocation allowance,
- Accommodation,
- Monthly stipend,
- Book allowance,
- Health Insurance, and others.
Eligibility Criteria for CGI-AF Scholarship
Those candidates are eligible for scholarships who are bonafide ASEAN nationals (except Thai citizens). They must meet the following qualifications:
- The candidate must be below 30 years of age.
- He/she must hold a Bachelor Degree with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 in one of the following fields:
- Sciences: Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences
- Medical Sciences: Medicine, Medical Technology
- Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Applicants from other related fields are also welcome to apply for scholarships. They must fulfill the following eligibility conditions.
- They must have experience in scientific laboratory research
- They must have demonstrated English proficiency, preferably on one of two recognized tests of language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS)
- Candidate must provide a statement of purpose explaining their interests in the study

Application Process of Joint Postgraduate Scholarship Program
The interested candidates are required to complete the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute – the ASEAN Foundation Post-graduate Scholarship Programme’s application form and submit it through the below-mentioned channel along with the other required documents.

A: All candidates must attain an official test score higher than the minimum score for admission in any of the following standardized English Examinations.
