Ashok Khurana Scholarship 2023
The outstanding students of India are hereby informed that they are invited to submit their applications for Ashok Khurana Scholarships Program 2023 at the University of Adelaide as the application are invited by the University of Adelaide, Australia.
This is a full time Post Graduate studies programme which can be practiced by the candidates in the offered subjects at the university.
The admission for postgraduate program are open. The eligibility conditions for the admission is that the candidate applying for this scholarship should already have an offer of admission from the University of Adelaide.
Eligibility for university of Adelaide Ashok Khurana scholarship:
- The candidates who fulfill the eligibility conditions are eligible to apply for Ashok Khurana Scholarship for Outstanding Indian Students for full time Postgraduate Program at University of Adelaide, Australia.
- The applying candidates should be Indian national or an International candidates with Indian Citizenship.
- The candidates should be a graduate and should be interested in practising post-graduation.
- To apply for this scholarship, the candidate must have an unconditional offer at the University of Adelaide.
- The scholarship cannot be delayed.
Not Eligible :
- Candidates who have already started their studies at the University of Adelaide are not eligible to apply.
- If the applicants applied for, or will apply for Australian permanent resident status are also not eligible to apply for Ashok Khurana Scholarship.
Benefits Provided Ashok Khurana Scholarship 2023:
- The selected candidates will be supported to undertake a Full time postgraduate coursework program of study at the University of Adelaide.
- The scholars will be provided with an scholarship of a value $25000 for one year, payable against scholars airfares, living expenses and tuition fees.
- The successful candidate may also receive an additional 50 per cent discount on the tuition fees for one (1) year.
Application Process for Ashok Khurana Scholarship 2023
1. The scholarship will be given to those candidates who are undertaking a postgraduate coursework program of study, on a full time basis at the University in the areas of:
Courses eligible for Ashok Khurana Scholarship
** Education
** Agriculture (including food security and wine).
** Health Services (including Biotechnology).
** Clean Technology.
** Environment (including Urban Planning and Architecture).
** Aerospace and Resources.
** Any other programs as agreed by the Donor and the University (“the Program”).
2. To be eligible, the candidate should have quality to display outstanding leadership qualities and a demonstrated ability to significantly enhance India.
3. Candidate should have an unconditional offer at the University of Adelaide prior to applying for this scholarship.
Note:
The receiver of the scholarship will be required to report on their experiences to legislatures of the appropriate bodies both in Australia and India.
Selection Process for Ashok Khurana Scholarship
The selection of candidates for Ashok Khurana Scholarship is based on the following criterion.
{a} Academic merit of the candidates
{b} A personal statement which demonstrates outstanding leadership qualities and an intention to meaningfully improve India’s development in their field of study upon completion of their studies.
