AP Pre  Matric Scholarship:- The process of online application for the pre-matric scholarship by the Government of Andhra Pradesh is also available through the jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in website. This scholarship is awarded to students from class 1 to class 10 who are studying in a government or government-funded educational institution. Under this scheme, students belonging to minority communities who are under the economically backward class have also been included.

Scholarships will be given to students who meet the eligibility criteria under this scheme. Students belonging to families below the poverty line or belonging to the lower-income group have been given more importance. Under the pre-matric scholarship, 2 children from one family can apply. To participate in this scheme one has to fulfill the eligibility conditions given below.

Eligibility for AP Pre Matric Scholarship

Students desirous of availing financial assistance under this scheme must fulfill the eligibility conditions. Those students who are not eligible for this scheme and still submit the jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in application form, the applications of such students will be rejected. • A student studying from class 1 to class 10 in any government or government-funded school is eligible to participate in this scheme.
• Only those students who have obtained minimum 50% marks in the previous class (final examination) can apply for this scholarship.
• The annual income of the student’s family should be worked out from Rs 1 lakh (from all sources) and for this, he has to submit the income certificate along with the application form.
• AP Pre Matric Scholarship Andhra Pradesh Under this pre-matric scholarship, 30% of scholarships have been reserved for girls. If thirty percent of the girls do not apply, then, in that case, the remaining scholarship in the quota will be given to the boys.
• Students who have permanent residence in Andhra Pradesh and who do not have it can apply for this scheme. The AP Scholarship 2023 has also been kept open by the Andhra Pradesh government for students coming from other states.
• The beneficiary student while receiving benefits under this scheme will not be eligible for financial assistance for scholarship or education of any other state or central government.

• Income certificate or parent’s salary slip issued by Tehsil Office
• Copy of Bonafide certificate issued by Tehsil Office
• Previous year’s mark sheet or a certificate of passing.
• Copy of passbook of student’s joint bank account with a parent.
• Copy of permanent residence certificate (domicile certificate) of the guardian.
• Caste/minority community certificate
• Photo of the applicant signed by the principal of the school along with the application form

• After clicking on the scholarship option, an online application form will open in front of you, in which you will have to fill all the information correctly and truthfully.
• After filling the application form, all the documents have to be uploaded online and the application form will have to be submitted.
