William J Clinton Fellowship for service in India is offered by American India Foundation (AIF) for the academic session 2023-24 for the suitable candidates for ten (10) months duration work in NGOs and social enterprises in India to hasten impact and create operative projects that are replicable, ascendable, and workable. The selected fellows of AIF William J Clinton Fellowship 2024 will obtain knowledge of development on the ground in the fields of education, livelihoods, public health, and social enterprise.
AIF William J. Clinton Fellowship 2023 American India Foundation Application Process
The Fellowship creates a community of socially engaged, global citizens who represent the leaders of tomorrow.The AIF Clinton Fellowship provides a prominent stage to develop the skills, resources, and network needed to become an effective and socially-minded leader.
The William J Clinton Fellowship has already started in the month of October 2024 for which the interested and eligible candidates can submit their application up to 20 January 2023.

Eligibility Criteria for AIF William J Clinton Fellowship 2024
- The applying candidate should be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States and India.
- The candidate’s age should be between 21 to 34 years as of September 1, 2024.
- The candidate should complete their undergraduate degree prior to 1 Sept. 2023.
- The candidate should be able to display a deep interest, passion, and commitment to social and economic development in India.
- He/she should hold strong professional skills and excellent academic records.
Benefits Provided for AIF William J Clinton Fellowship 2024
AIF Clinton Fellowship is fully funded and gives the various benefits which are mentioned below.
For Indian selected Fellows :
- The selected candidates of India will be provided with domestic travel from their hometowns in India, insurance coverage by AIF.
- A monthly stipend will also be given to the selected candidates.
For Selected United States Fellows :
- Selected candidates of the US will get a roundtrip ticket from the USA to India, along with insurance coverage.
- A monthly stipend will also be given.
Two (2) Weeks Vacation Time :
- The selected Fellow will receive up to two (2) weeks of vacation time during their 10-month Fellowship duration, pending approval from the host organization.
- Those Fellows who are placed at host organizations with a Saturday workday receive 20 days of vacation time.
- Placements and Responsibilities of the selected fellows
- Fellows will support AIF partner organizations in meeting their human resource and project needs through skills-sharing, training, and capacity-building.

- Applications for AIF William Clinton Fellowship open annually in the month of September to June in one year.
- First of all, the candidates should have to create an account with AIF by giving their email addresses and creating a password.
How to Fill AIF Clinton Fellowship Application Form :
- Enter the Personal Details, Contact number, address, Educational Background & experience in the application form.
- Essay Questions – 250-300 words per question
- The applicant will have to describe an experience where you demonstrated resourcefulness, sound judgment, critical thinking, and/or creative problem-solving skills.
- The applicant will have to write about a time where you utilized your communication skills to navigate difficult circumstances or achieve a critical objective.
- He/she should have to describe a significant cross-cultural experience you have had at home or abroad.
- Then the applicant should require to describe their view of leadership, what leadership model you subscribe to and provide an example(s) where you have demonstrated leadership principles and practices.

Selection Process for AIF William J Clinton Fellowship 2024
- All the applications are stored on the basis of some standard points fixed for it and the candidates who meet all the standard points will have to pass the interview process.
- The candidate’s application will be judged on the basis of their references and interview.
- The grades will be given to the applications.
- The shortlisted candidates will be called for an initial screening interview via Skype with AIF Staff.
- A select group of candidates will be invited to a second round of interviews held in person and successful candidates will be notified of their acceptance afterward.
